baby to become our patient, the process
couldn't be simpler. Your OB or care team
at the hospital where you are delivering
will ask who you have chosen as your
Pediatrician. Let them know that you have
chosen SouthernMED Pediatrics and they
will notify us once the baby is born.

Congratulations on your growing family! When you deliver, one of the hospital’s providers will see you while you are still in the hospital, and they will ask who you have chosen as your pediatric provider. Simply let them know that you have chosen SouthernMED Pediatrics and they will notify us once your bundle of joy makes their appearance and is ready for discharge. You and baby will follow up for the first time in our office typically 24-48 hours post discharge.
