Expecting Mothers

Congratulations on your growing family! If you are expecting and would like your baby to become our patient, the process couldn't be simpler. Your OB or care team at the hospital where you are delivering will ask who you have chosen as your Pediatrician. Let them know that you have chosen SouthernMED Pediatrics and they will notify us once the baby is born.

With 10 offices across South Carolina, we provide:

If you give birth at Lexington Medical Center, PRISMA Health Richland, PRISMA Health Baptist or PRISMA Health Parkridge, one of our providers will visit you and your baby in the hospital and they will let you know when to make your first visit to our office. If you give birth at any other hospital, one of the hospital’s providers will see you while you are still in the hospital, and they will let you know when to come to our office after being discharged.

* some health plans do not cover the cost of sport physicals or well child
appointments. For these plans the self-pay rate will apply.
