Sarah grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2013. She has worked as an inpatient pediatric nurse in both critical care and acute care units. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2022. She is an active member of the South Carolina chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Sarah and her husband, Alexander moved to the Charleston area in 2020. They enjoy taking their 2 dogs, Cash and Junior to the beach, traveling, and cooking in their time off.
