Colby grew up in Irmo, South Carolina. She went to Dutch Fork High School and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2007. She began working as a nurse in the Mother/Baby Unit at Baptist Hospital followed by Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2011 she earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She moved to Charlotte, NC and worked in pediatrics for many years before moving back home to join SouthernMed Pediatrics.
Colby and her husband, Michael, have 3 children Reid, Ellie and Ben. When Colby is not working, she enjoys playing tennis, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends.
