Dr. Katie Mollo grew up in Moorestown, NJ with her parents and older brother. She attended college at Loyola University in Maryland. She returned home to South Jersey where she spent the year between college and medical school, working as a substitute teacher. She attended Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in southern New Jersey. Following medical school, she moved to South Carolina to attend residency at Palmetto Health Children’s hospital. She returned to NJ where she worked as a pediatric community hospitalist. After a year, she decided to return to training and completed her fellowship in Palliative Care and Hospice. She worked as a hospice physician at Hands of Hope after fellowship. Dr. Mollo is excited to join to SouthernMed Pediatrics. She enjoys doing projects around her house, walking, and exploring new places.
