Dr. Megan Boltin

My mother is a family physician, so growing up my sister and I occasionally had to tag along while she made nursing home rounds and even a house call. Seeing her love for her patients and her job was the original spark for me to pursue a career in medicine. While in medical school I did a rotation in pediatrics in my home town of Orangeburg. That summer I worked with a wonderful pediatrician and that made me fall in love with Pediatric medicine. I am thankful I eventually got to work with my mentor as a colleague in my first years of practice as a pediatric hospitalist in Orangeburg.

I am most happy spending time with my three children. I love taking them on fun adventures and experiencing things firsthand through their eyes. I enjoy going on afternoon walks with my family and dogs.
