Dr. Andrew Pittard MD
Dr. Andrew Pittard earned his economics degree from Wake Forest University and his medical degree from MUSC. He completed his pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University and began practicing primary care pediatrics in 2009. Dr. Pittard joined SouthernMED Pediatrics in 2015 and sees patients at Lake Murray. Outside of work, he enjoys sports and outdoor activities with his wife and three children.

Bio and Work History
Dr. Andrew Pittard earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Wake Forest University and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. During medical school, he received the Thomas Savage Memorial Award in recognition of his academic excellence, integrity, character, and enthusiasm for life.
Dr. Pittard completed his pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University and began his primary care pediatrics career at Oakbrook Pediatrics in 2009. He joined SouthernMED Pediatrics in 2015 and currently sees patients at the Lake Murray office.
A Charleston native, Dr. Pittard lives in Lexington with his wife, Jennifer, their three children, and four dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, spending time outdoors, and making memories with his family.
