Dr. Avery Acuff MD
Dr. Acuff earned her psychology degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her pediatric residency at Wake Forest University. A Columbia native, she values earning families’ trust and caring for their children. Outside of work, she enjoys running, cycling, swimming, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.

Bio and Work History
Dr. Acuff attended Harvard University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in psychology. She returned to South Carolina to earn her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed her pediatric residency training at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
A Columbia native and graduate of Hammond School, Dr. Acuff has wanted to become a general pediatrician since college. She considers earning families’ trust and caring for their children a true privilege and joy.
Outside of work, Dr. Acuff enjoys running, cycling, swimming at the lake, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
