Dr. Nakia Smith graduated with honors from Furman University, where she earned her biology degree, and received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her pediatric residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia. Born and raised in Orangeburg, Dr. Smith returned to her hometown after residency to serve children and families in her community.

Dr. Smith completed her pediatric residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, gaining the knowledge and clinical experience needed to care for children throughout every stage of development.
Born and raised in Orangeburg, Dr. Smith returned to her hometown after residency to begin her career in private practice. She is proud to serve children and families in the community that helped shape her.
