Dr. Raj Patel MD
Dr. Raj Patel earned his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from the University of South Florida. He completed his pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children. A board-certified pediatrician, he founded Sunshine Pediatrics in Rock Hill and served the community for 23 years before joining SouthernMED Pediatrics in 2025.

Dr. Raj Patel earned his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1990 and his medical degree from the University of South Florida School of Medicine in 1996. He completed his pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children in Orlando in 1999.
A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Patel practiced in Florida before relocating to Rock Hill in 2002 and founding Sunshine Pediatrics. He led the practice for 23 years, earning a reputation for excellence within the community. In 2025, he joined SouthernMED Pediatrics, where he continues providing compassionate, high-quality services to children and families.
Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking, traveling, and following sports.
