Meredith Jernigan FNP
Meredith earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of South Carolina. She began her career as a pediatric nurse at Lexington Medical Center and joined SouthernMED Pediatrics as a nurse practitioner in 2012. She lives in Irmo with her husband, Josh, their three children, and their dog. She enjoys sweet treats and classic Disney movies.

Bio and Work History
Meredith graduated with honors from Irmo High School before attending the University of South Carolina College of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing magna cum laude in 2009 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2011.
Meredith began her career as a pediatric nurse at Lexington Medical Center while completing her graduate education. She joined SouthernMED Pediatrics as a nurse practitioner in 2012 and has continued serving children and families in the community.
Meredith lives in Irmo with her husband, Josh; their three children, Caroline, William, and Elizabeth; and their dog, Winnie. She is an active member of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church and enjoys sweet treats, cookie dough ice cream, and classic Disney movies—especially Beauty and the Beast.
