Dr. Raj Patel

Dr. Raj Patel is a Board-Certified Pediatrician who graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1990 and from the University of South Florida’s School of Medicine in 1996. He completed his pediatric residency in 1999 at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children in Orlando. After practicing medicine for three years in Florida, Dr. Patel relocated to Rock Hill in 2002, where he founded Sunshine Pediatrics alongside his wife and son. Under his leadership, the practice earned a reputation for excellence and served the community for 23 years. In 2025, he joined SouthernMED Pediatrics, continuing his commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.

Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking, traveling, and is an avid sports fan.
