Don is a Buckeye at heart, with a 15-year stop in Florida before finally settling in Camden, South Carolina, with his wife, Chrissy. He spent 25 years in general pediatrics and hospital administration in Findlay, Ohio, while moonlighting in numerous pediatric urgent cares. The move to Florida included a short stint in general pediatrics, then, most recently, eleven years in pediatric urgent care as a provider and managing four locations.
This final move brings him near his oldest daughter, Tiffany, and her family, who have settled here after years stationed in Japan, and near his youngest daughter, Carly, a freshman at Clemson. His two sons, Tim, a pediatrician, and John, a recruiter, reside in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, a daughter, Caitlin, is in Cleveland, and a son, Carson, is at the University of South Florida. His two golden retrievers, Huey and Winston, complete his family, which, along with the humans, are his greatest joys!
Don attended college and medical school at Ohio State University and completed his residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
