Heather Trotter MSN, CPNP

Heather is originally from Pennsylvania and now proud to call Edgefield home; she began her educational journey at the University of South Carolina Aiken, where she earned her undergraduate degree in nursing. She went on to complete her medical training at Georgia Regents University. She is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and has been practicing for more than 10 years. 

Her clinical focus includes supporting children and teens with behavior and mental health concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and autism, as well as providing medication management when appropriate. She is passionate about caring for adolescents and helping guide them through both their physical and emotional growth. 

What she enjoys most about pediatrics is the opportunity to teach—whether helping new parents learn how to care for their baby or preparing teenagers for the transition to adulthood and college. She believes education is one of the most meaningful ways to empower families at every stage. 

Outside the office, she enjoys visiting both the mountains and the beach, staying active through exercise, and finding great spots to shop. She and her husband, David, share their home with their two daughters, Emma and Katherine, their cat Skye, and their dogs Hank and Holly.
