Bio and Work History

Carlee earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017. A board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, she began her pediatric career as a student nurse in 2012 and later worked as a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.

Carlee has more than eight years of experience in pediatric primary, urgent, and specialty care. While working in pediatric oncology, she presented at a national conference on endocrinopathies in pediatric cancer survivors. She is passionate about using her broad clinical experience to provide high-quality care to children and families.

Carlee and her high school sweetheart have two young children. Together, they enjoy spending summers at Lake Murray and watching college football in the fall. Her dream trip is a family vacation to Hawaii, and if she were not a pediatric provider, she would be a lawyer.
