Dr. Melissa Mills MD
Dr. Mills earned her biology degree from Furman University and completed medical school and pediatric residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She joined SouthernMED Pediatrics in 2026 and sees patients in Batesburg. She enjoys building lasting relationships with families. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, two sons, and dog.

Dr. Mills earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Furman University. She completed both her medical degree and pediatric residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
Dr. Mills joined SouthernMED Pediatrics in February 2026 and sees patients at the Batesburg location. She enjoys caring for children from birth through young adulthood, helping parents feel comfortable, and building lasting relationships with families throughout each child’s growth and development.
Originally from Irmo, South Carolina, Dr. Mills enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, Tim, and their two sons. Their family also includes a dog.
